Stacey Andrews has a torn ACL. I bet he wishes he struck a deal with the Bengals before the season started. The Bengals have been trying to hammer out a deal with Andrews for years now. He and his agent have resisted. You have to wonder what is future will be with the Bengals now? I am sure they are ready to sign a deal. The Bengals now hold the chips. It would seem that the Bengals could use the Franchise tag on T.J. If the Bengals don’t re-sign Andrews they will be in need of a new OT. Andrew Collins has played great in Levi Jones absence, but you have to wonder what Levi's future is with the Bengals?

Stacey Andrews tears ACLDknow -- I was afraid the news would be bad about Andrews' injury. What a crappy thing to have happen in the second-last game of the season. I think he's done an adequate job this year, and considering all the injuries that have piled up on the offensive line, the Bengals are fortunate to have had his services. I think you are right, though. His hesitance to commit could bite him in the butt now. This sort of puts a new frame on the offensive line picture and makes it even more critical that the team address the issues they have there sooner rather than later. |

Stacey Andrews tears ACLStacey was not likely the Willie Anderson answer at Tackle, but he is a good player. The great teams have great Tackles OBs and tailbacks can bank on. For that physical and athletic is great but the biggest is part is personal integrity and character. Draft tackles who are good but share those qualities, get them quick by any legal means while we still have a great QB!!!! |
